Meguiar's now at SAM'S CLUB!!

I was in Sam's club earlier this evening, and noticed a couple new items down the car care aisle labeled with "Meguiars" on them.

The first was a 4-pack product set that included Gold Class liquid wax, Quik Interior Detailer, Hot Shine Tire Foam, and the new Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner. The price was $23 -- not bad savings over what you'd usually pay for those four separately.

Then, they had a 9-pc. brush and accessory set - again just over $20. In it was a flow-through, telescoping wash brush, wheel brush, tire brush, a couple interior brushes, a hose shut-off adapter, hose nozzle, bug/tar sponge, and one other item I can't recall off hand. These weren't bad, but they weren't actually Meguiar's brushes -- merely "Meguiar's tested and approved." However, for the most part they looked like decent brushes.

I didn't pick either up yet, but I will be headded back there in a few weeks to get the brushes -- probably will pass on the product kit since I don't use those particular Meg's products.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Oh, and one other new product I saw was "Simple Green Extreme Clean" -- I'm kinda scared about that one.

I seen the extreme clean in Lowes when I went to pick up a few things. Not sure if it is the same formula, just different labeling, or if it a stronger concentrate......I guess I'll look when I go back.

I was in Sams in Niagara Falls NY on Thursday. They had a 4 pack of Stoners Invisible Glass for something like $9.00 USD. They also were selling Mothers Wheel Cleaner in a 2 pack. I passed on the Stoners because they also sell 4 packs of Sprayway Glass Cleaner in the house cleaning products section for something like $6.00 USD and I prefer it to the Stoners.

TexasTB - Yeah I couldn't really tell from the packaging what the big difference was; maybe I missed some important detail there...

Anthony - I saw the Stoner's IG and Sprayway, they have had both here for a while. Didn't see the Mother's cleaner though. Interesting find, nonetheless.

All in all though, I'm becomming increasingly impressed with the selection Sams is starting to carry. Now if only we could get them to carry the gallon jugs of Meguiar's detailer line....... :D or better yet 6.5" SoftBuff pads.... (pipe dream!!)

Now wouldn't that be just too cool. I would definatly have to get a new membership then...........:D

I just joined. It's fun to shop these warehouse clubs. I was very tempted by a nice stainless Honda lawnmower. The instant I saw it I started figuring a polishing regimen :D I saw the Mother's pack and the Meg's pack. They are a good value.

Not to get to far OT, but a couple days I saw someone post on Autopia a very nice Black Magic brush kit from Sam's Club for like $10. I'd really like to pick one up but i'm not a member and I'm not to familiar with any local Sam's Club. :wall
