I recently used Meguiar's Leather Wipes on my 2004 Mercedes SL500 interior and I just noticed that it leaves a glossy, residue on the leather. I was driving today in the sun and could easily notice the areas on my passenger seat and headrest that I cleaned with the wipes.
I thought Meguiar's stuff was safe for any leather (Mercedes-Benz markets rebranded Meguiar's stuff for their car car line). How can I get rid of the residue and restore the normal matte finish of the leather?
How do you guys quickly clean your new leather interiors?
Any help would be appreciated as I am a total detailing newbie and I do not want to take this expensive thing to a detailer!
