This looks very interesting! Supposedly its going to be distributed in Europe only and $200+ if the rumors are true....

Gtecniq C1 Crystal Lacquer or Aquartz Paint & Glass Coating are much cheaper. But yes it's interesting.

I have used most of the 15ml of C4 already. L1 Leather Guard is great as well.

I have Aquartz on my ride at the moment. C1 is what I am going to start using.

Wow, 15ml should last on 20 + cars. Old Tiger was nice enough to send me some Aquartz, but it's just too many steps to apply.

Not sure where you got 20 + cars from, but its lasted for 3 cars so far. Guess it depends on how much trim you have to do. I own an 05 Ford Freestar, which seems to have lots of plastic to be coated. Then I did a 2000 Ford Contour and a Chevy Suburban.

Or I just need more practice :-)

I'd love to try this out to see how it compares to Opti-Coat? If it's anything like their new buffing system coming out it will surely be amazing.

From what I was told at the Megs booth during SEMA it will be an ASIA only product for a while. It will be sold to Authorized Megs "installers" who will charges from $500US to $1500US for the complete 5 step system.

Since there is talk of C1 here I hope I can ask what you paid for it and how is the application of this product?

a 30ml bottle is 34.95 British Pounds

This is a GTechniq vide on how to apply it:

I have used many coatings and Opticoat is, IMO, the best bang for the buck - if you can buy it.

Opticoat is the only stuff I have seen proof of durability. What is really funny is how some of these coatings have accompanying boosters. Why do I need a booster for a durable coating?

GTechniq also has a proof of durabilty. There is more info here: Exterior Coatings // G|Techniq

Sorry, the assumption was somewhat credible proof, not the person taking my money. I have seen a couple of independent write-ups for Opti-coat that reviewed the product for a period of over a year. I am not saying it doesn't work, but I don't want to be the Patsy.

Far as I know it was an independent test. There are plenty of reviews of C1 on the Detailing World forums from users.

Can you point me to one where someone has let the stuff go for a year plus with no boosters?
