Bought it yesterday at Walmart. Any one used it before??? Doesn't seem to be that popular here at Autopia (A2Z is the most popular). Any good or bad things about it???

I have used it with no problems at all. I am not sure how acidic its. I found it to be comparable in cleaning ability as A to Z.

It works well, I think it is very acidic, be very careful if your wheels are hot and rinse off immediately. Works better than P21S wheel cleaner and 1/4 the cost. And it's funny that the sprayer is backwards too :shocked

I've used it before. It's a good product, not sure if it's acidic or basic, but i'm leaning towards acidic. Cleans fairly decently.

What if my rims are kinda dirty with brake dust and dirt??? How long do you recommand me to wait until I rinse the wheel??? You know how Volvos have loads of brake dust.

Well, the directions say, "Allow product to penetrate surface for no longer than 15 seconds. Dirty wheels may require agitation with a brush."

If they're really caked with brake dust, you've got to scrub them with a brush or terry towels. I usually spray the product on the wheel, rinse, spray again and scrub/wipe down, rinse, and then dry with a terry towel. I don't think there is such a thing as a wheel cleaner that will completely clean the wheels without some scrubbing.

Ditto.

The important thing with ALL wheel cleaners is to not let it dry out! The temperature and sun/no sun, etc aren't really the issue, as the manufacturers are just trying to make sure that you don't let the stuff dry out on the finish before you can rinse it off.

If the wheels are really dirty I would suggest spraying, scrubbing quickly, and then rinsing before too much time has passed. You can always do it again if you don't get them clean the first time.

Likewise, I am pretty sure Hot Rims is acidic. I'm not worried - like all things just use it properly and you'll be fine.
