I have a mobile detailing business in Nashville TN, and I recently injured myself (not on the job) and now I can't do this anymore. So I have to sell. I have a 1989 for Aerostar in perfect condition, with a 65 gallon water tank in it, new Devilbiss 2300 PSI pressure washer, new power inverter, new vacumme, all cleaning supplies, deer skin chamois, and a bunch of other stuff. I can email you pics if you would like. The van is in perfect condition, I would drive it across the US without hesitation, I recently had alot of work done on it totaling $765. It is a very cool set up. I have made good money with it. Selling all for $3200. Please email me if [email protected]..

I HAVE PICS TO EMAIL. I will deliver...

Thanks for the video. I was thinking about buying it but i decided I am going to just use both my original G110s until they die.

Dave,

Nice review and demo. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

I will finally be finding the time to use mine for the first time the day after Christmas. Can't wait :Dancing Dot:

I have always used my G110 v1 with the handle. I think I'm going to leave the handle off the v2 and get used to using it that way from the start.

:)

David... does the V2 bog down under heavy pressure?

With the PC, I can bog it down fairly easily, the PCXP, can bog, but only under very heavy pressure. Just wanting to know if the V2 has more torque.

Bill, here is what I have found (if you don't mind)

The G110V2 is quiter then the PC-XP and PC. It is not a huge amount and not enough that it would really change my mind about purchasing either of them over the other. It is noticable however.

The G110V2 vibrates less then the PC-XP (which I found to vibrate more then the original PC) and less then original PC. Again not a huge difference, but perhaps more important then the sound. It really is smoother.

Power, the G110V2 and are pretty close , with one small difference. The V2 'throttles up' when it senses bog so it seems to cut a little more when the going gets rough. I think the G110V2 offers a little more, but not a HUGE amount. The difference isn't so much that I would buy one over the other just because of this, but once again it is advantage G110.

Fit and Finish: G110V2 is the nicest looking/feeling ROB I have owned. By far... I should add that for me (because function is most important) this means nothing, but it is a handsome machine. If this is important to you, then you have your choice (at least to my taste).

Operation: G110V2's dial is far more senstive feeling then XP's, with each notch on the dial feeling extremely different. No more crazy jumps in power.

So at the end of the day: For the simple fact that it vibrates less and works slightly better in all regards to the PC, I would choose the G100V2. My only concern is that Porter Cable does have one of the stellar names in tool manufacturing. Given all of the advantages of the G110V2, and Meguiar's excellent reputation for making things right, I am very comfortable in choosing to use G110V2. The PC-XP will serve as an excellent back up tool in case the G100V2 has any problems: And that ain't bad either.

Thanks Todd! That is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. Even though I purchased an XP this summer and I'm pleased with the performance increase over the PC, I'm still considering the V2.

The main reason is the increase in power when you apply pressure. I'm still looking into the Griot's RO polisher as well.

More than that, a detailer can never have too many polishers!!!
