Meguiars G100A (polisher)?

hey i was looking at this Meguairs G100A polisher, is this the exact same as a PC?

any differences?

It's the same unit.



When you buy it from Porter-Cable as a 7424 it comes with a lame, fixed foam pad and a one year warranty. As a 7335 or 7336 it comes with backing plates for sanding disks. As a 7336SP it comes with a both a backing plate for sanding disks and a lame, fixed foam pad.



When you buy it from Meguiar's it comes with Meg's Velcro backing plate, one real foam polishing pad and a lifetime warranty.

thanks... though i noticed they only have 3 pads... with no Light cutting pad.

i was planning to do a SSR2.5 followed by SSR1

i saw in another post of yours, the Burgundy pad is not recommended to be used on the pc. so will i hve to use the heavy polishing pad for both applications?

or should i just go with a pad system with light cutting/light polishing pads.
