Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paste Wax

Okay, I'm back. I decided it was to nice of a night (and my car looking to good) to just sit around and talk on the interweb all night, so I decided to go for a quick drive :drive:

I stopped and fueled up and couldn't help but grin knowing how AWESOME my car looked compared to everyone else's under the fluorescents. In my mind; that means I win and everyone else looses :strong:
 
meguiar's still lists it on their website as current. i've used both the deep crystal wax and polish. i believe they contain more fillers, but still looked very good.

I just checked the can and its good for metal , leather ,vinyl,wood and plastics and 90 % full.

I dont get why no one claimed their prizes!

I should probably keep it for my customers that want their interior "wood "protected .:lol:

You should offer that standard and wipe new as an upgrade :bigups
 
I used DC3 and thought it was a really nice wax, back in the day. Easy on, easy off, liquid looks, but durability wasn't the best. I'm all about getting great results with whatever you use, and somebody with your experience Trouble is going to get good results.

that's what we like about todd, such a good sense of humor. :rofl
 
The better it looks the more oils, solvents and non nuba waxes in the can. Nuba with synthetic resins or polymers will give you longer durability. IMO the best durability to looks ratio is Collinite 845. Stuff lasts forever.
 
While I still like the way this wax makes your finish look (and it's still producing AWESOME beads), this stuff has a tendency to haze. I think I know why it was discontinued

My next review will be on Collinite Marque D' Elegance (915 is what some say). You'll want to stay tuned for that

It seems like the better a wax looks, the less durable it is.

There are reasons for that.

1. A cheap guy will apply a cheap wax and be happy for 6 months to a year.

2. Gullible guys like us will apply a boutique wax every month.

There is one exception: Collinite Wax. Cheap and lasts too long!
