Meguiars brush on clearance at Big Lots

Couple days ago I noticed one of the local Big Lots had the Meguiar brush on clearance. X1000 interior brush $1.50, X1120 Slide lock brush $1.50. Several others were there as well. All seemed to be priced at 1/2 off. I picked up 10 of each of the two I mentioned. Not sure if all Big Lots are doing this though. I checked another store and they were regular price.
 
Are these on clearance at biglots or are they just at biglots? I bought the wheel brush and exterior brush as well as the interior, all were about 50% off MSRP.

They tend to be uneven with the discount. When they had the Meg's QD Pad, it was for 75% of MSRP. Heck, I got a better price than that from ADS. I think a lot of Big Lots stuff isn't that great a deal, they just want you to think it is.

Anyone can visit...don't get too excited about it though, it's really a junk store. Every once in a while tho, we Autopians find something that's another man's junk, but our treasure.
 
I bought a Mr Clean sheepskin wheel brush for $2.99 at BL. A search on the net shows most places have it for about $9. I also bought some of the Megs brushes a while back. BL still has them at the same price.
 
Big Lots has lots of great stuff, although most of the stuff is cheap, 99 cent type products. However, some products, like the detailing products, are brand name products that can be bought for a fraction of the listed price.

Big Lots is a store. It's very big and the stuff inside is usually cheap in price. The only thing is that some of them are very very messy (i have only been in 2).
 
was just at big lots, and all the megs items were still full price, but i did pick up another bottle of the long haul bug degreaser (couldn't leave empy handed :D ).
 
I bought some swivel extensions there for $2 that totally saved my butt changing spark plugs.



Great prices. Some of the stuff actually works.

50% off Big Lots already discounted price. I've been to three Big Lots in our area, all had the brushes but only one marked them down .

Big Lots is just a discount store. Not really a big deal, it used to be called Pic N Save. I don't think you should really make it a point of trying to visit one, but if you're in the area...
 
Crazy, I just saw a BigLots commercial on tv and have never seen/heard of it prior to here. Guess theres none around the east side?

And last time I was in there they had plenty of Long Haul, Meguiars Brushes, and TW Platinum wash.
