Meguiar`s Hot Shine for tires

I just used this today, I had it in my pile of stuff and I thought it was the similar foam spray product that they have. I usually use the foam one on the lower plastic trim since it does a good job. I started to use this one on the trim with a applicator and it stated do not use on plastic or paint. So do you think I should clean it off?

Yes, clean it off. I myself never like it even on tires. For exterior trim that won`t break the bank I recommend these fine products:

BLACKFIRE Total Trim & Tire Sealant

Sonus Trim & Motor Kote

Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus

or Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant
 
I do have some Sonus, I wanted to use up what I had "opened" . I do like the foam tire cleaner but this one not as much. It must have come in a kit or I got a really good deal.
 
I`ve been looking at tire cleaners I can use for my truck`s Toyo tires. I often see Mothers Foaming Tire & Wheel cleaner and Meguiar`s Hot Shine. I`m skeptical and would like to know some comparison.
