Meguiar`s Fast Wax ... picked some up

Gonna give it a try. I know that I`ve said I want to use McKee`s 37 Paint Coating on my car, but the detailing bug is in me and I wanted to see if the Meg`s FF would be good as an LSP on my customers` cars. I think I`ll only do 1/2 the hood and a fender to see what kind of results i get. I picked some up yesterday at Wally World while I was grocery shopping (I always have to swing through the automotive section while shopping ;) ). So I figure in a week or two, I should be able to give some feedback on my results.

And I was just at Wally world. I to usually visit the car care isle but I was with my wife and I purchased a couple waxes last week. She doesn`t understand the importance of testing waxes

That`s Why I kind of like grocery shopping alone :)

I think Don meant Fast Finish. Another product I was curious about.

Meguiars Ultimate Fast Finish

^^^yeah this. I get all these "Fast" products confused

Keep us posted on your findings. I take care of two other family cars, as well as my own DD and Garage Queen. I used the Meguiar`s PP365 on my wife`s Cruze and daughter`s Fit and they both survived the winter well. Unlike my own vehicles, I`m not as concerned about the gloss as I am the self-cleaning properties, which is where PP365 stands up well. UFF sounds like my choice for the coming Fall prep, as I can polish and wax all year and just spray it on when desired.

I`ve use Ultimate Fast Finish on a few customer cars, and on my sons car so far. Can`t say anything about longevity yet, but the ease of application and immediate removal is a nice benefit. The one downside at this time of year, directions say you need 24 hrs cure time after applying before you wash, or it rains, and it`s spring. That`s tough! But the look of it is nice. And of course you can add your own carnuba (24 hrs later) for that warm glow if you must.

My next effort with UFF is to find a nice microfiber covered foam pad for applications. I don`t like applying it with the microfiber towel. It slips around too much.
