Megs Medallion Paint Cleaner <- How to apply?

How do I use this stuff? Do I "break it down" like DACP? How abrasive is this? How often should I use it? Thanks.

Are you applying by hand or with a PC?

MMPC is primarily a chemical cleaner so it doesn't have to be broken down. By hand, fold a terry cloth into a small square, apply and get to rubbing. By PC use a polishing pad. Wipe off excess, no drying time necessary.

I believe MMPC is rated about 5 on the abrassive scale, with DACP being a 6 and SFP #82 being a 3.

I already tried this stuff a couple of weeks ago. But it left some residue. I used an orbital buffer for application and a microfibre for buffing off excess. Is this normal? I used Megs FD to remove the residue.

I purchased some of this as well, and I was going to ask what's the best way to apply this stuff. You beat me to it :D

I've been searching this board for info about this Cleaner, but I guess a lot of ppl. don't use this. Is this not a popular cleaner among fellow Autopian's??

I actually like the Medallion cleaner a lot. Generally, I apply and remove by hand, just use a foam applicator pad and work small sections at a time (i.e. 1/4 of the hood), and buff off before it has a chance to dry. I have used it with my PC before, but prefer the hand method as I seem to actually move faster this way. It always ensures a "squeaky-clean" surface before I set in with polishes and protectants.

Cool good to hear someone likes it :D. I ordered it last week and should be getting MPPC tomorrow along with my CMA Deluxe pad kit. I just recieved my PC from coastal tools today! I can't wait for some good weather to try my PC out with my new products :)

I'll try MPPC with the PC first, see how the results are.
