Megs Interior Quick Mist and Wipe UV?

Hey guys wondering if you guys know if Megs Interior Quick Mist and Wipe has any UV protective qualities? I love the matte look it provides, just hoping it has some protection!

Evenflow is right. More a cleaner with a little conditioner and UV protection. You can read more about it on the Megs forum. I just bought a couple bottles, great stuff. I had put too much protectant on the dash at it was too shiny. The Quick Detailer brought it right down to matt. Megs recommends putting a protectant on top of the detailer.

I forgot to mention the protectant I used on top of the detailer is Megs Natural Shine. A little more shine than matt but not much.

I do believe the bottle stated it had UV protection. How do you guys apply it? I gave mine away after trying it several times both spraying directly on areas or spraying on towel then applying. Each time I was left with large "dry spots" on my dash that I had to go back and re-dress. I exchanged it for another bottle thinking the 1st was bad, but got the same results. I'd like to try it again if there's a better way to use it.... just wasn't a product that worked for me. Sorry to stray off topic.

I spray it on a 100% Cotton terry cloth. I spray the cloth about3-4 times intials to get it nice a damp and 1 spray for every panel.

Were you using it with the sun on the dash? I've done that and it left the dry spots you're referring to. Other than that, I love it.

I'm guessing the "dry spots" are where the QID cleaned off the previously applied protectant.

I've found the cleaners to be strong enough to remove whatever dressing is on the dash.

Even on the Megs forum, Mike P. had mentioned it has very little UV protection, so I'm inclined to think of it as a nice maint. cleaner that should have a dressing applied afterwards. (No worries of dressing build up this way either.)

Yeah, that was my guess too.

Well if that is the case, I'll stick to usual APC cleaner and redress regiment.

Thanks for the input guys.
