Ok which is the better one step wax to hide swirls and clean the paint. I am not trying to remove the swirls i just want the wax to hide them the best and clean the paint. Any opinions will help greatly....

Oddly enough the megs states on the bottle where it is specially formulated to hide fine swirls whereas the mothers says nothing about swirl hiding this is one of the reasons why i was wondering...

i haven't used either on *my* car, but have on my mom's WHITE accord. Between Meg's and Mother's i prefer the Mother's. Her white honda (ss) has that ability that most white cars have to get that real grundgy, brownish tint to it. The kind that you don't know exists until you clean it kind ... and the mother's cleaner wax cleaned it beautifly and left her shiny. Can't say must about swirl-hiding ability, but as far as one step cleaner waxes go ... the Mother's IMO is more effective.

good luck!

America Shine makes a very nice cleaner wax. It may not be as aggressive as Meguiars or Mothers, but it's very easy to use and remove. Gives very good results also.:D

ok, just did a side by side comparison on black paint. And the winner is................. Meguiars. It not only made the paint smoother IMHO it also hid the most swirls and scratches. Just my 0.02.

Haven't tried Meguiar's, but Mother's is really good. Durability is very very short though. Plan on waxing every 2 weeks.
