megs APC +

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
i posted a thread awhile back on using APC+ as a wheel/tire cleaner. (factory cc wheels). and general opinion was its ok to use. question: at what dilution ration would you use?

thanks.

I use it 4:1 on tires and 10:1 on wheels in most cases. For the stubborn wheels, I'll hit it with the APC+ at 4:1.

I have tried 1:8 and 1:4.
1:8 is able to get wheels that have not beed washed for 3 months clean just like 1:4, but u need more scrubing.

good to know. i would rather get a gallon of this and mix it, then buy single wheel & tire cleaners. i do have it now, so maybe next wash i'll give it a try.

I bought Meg's D103 APC+ for the same reasons stated above. It works.

When I bought my gallon I went ahead and bought 2 of the bottles and 2 Chemical resistant sprayers. So I have both 10:1 & 4:1 dilution ratios. I always start out using 10:1 and it usually works for me.

I like APC at 4:1 for tires / wheels

Kinda prefer APC+ for interiors. seems to irritate my lungs less in the enclosed space

I've only used APC+ and I use it all the time. I just ordered a gallon a month ago and I'm half way trough it. I've used it in a lot of areas and it's so versatile.

This was all I used before Blackfire APC. Now I mix and match, if Im in need of using a lot of APC I use Megs as its more economical. I dont use APC+ on paint though.

is there really much of a difference between megs apc and apc+ other than the nice orange scent ?

Meg's APC is more for interior and has optical brighteners.

Meg's APC+ more for exterior use and is low foaming.

I have both and use whichever one works the best for my situation. Most could get away with only have one.

I had read the APC+ is intended for carpets due to low foaming aspects. I did not know about the optical brighteners but I just have APC+.

ordered another gallon of the APC + during the current sale. this gallon will be decicated to the wheels/tires. seperate spray bottle mixed 4:1 after i run out of my current wheel/tire cleaners, this will put into use. interested to see how it will work out. as long as its safe at that dulituion for my factory cc wheels.

might be awhile, but i will post my thoughts and results.
