Hi everyone. I bought my first brand new car recently and was disappointed by how badly the car was "detailed" before I picked it up... I started reading up on car detailing and now I'm completely addicted :D

I've been looking around for Megs #83 DAPC for the last couple of days with no success. I've checked out a few Partsources, Canadian Tire and NAPA in Edmonton with no success.

I'm going to be down in Calgary this Saturday, and was wondering if there are any other stores either here or in Calgary I can check out?

Thanks

If you have a new car I doubt it is so badly swirled that you'd need #83. I'd start with #80 first if you can find it or even #82.

I think there is a place in north calgary that sells it. I would suggest checking ouy beyond.ca (sorry to froum jump). It is a calgary car forum and 83 comes up every so often. I dont use it so i cant be more help...sorry.

But enjoy calgary

Its not for my car... its for my father's pickup truck. I'll check out beyond.ca, thanks.

I'm way out west near Victoria B.C., and locally there are a few Napa shops that handle Meguiar's and another chain called Lordco. They handle a ton of Meguiars and have 83 and 80 in the Lordco stores locally but strangely enough, none stock the #21 - the synthetic sealant. Meguiars Canada shows M2164 available, the M21 in a 64 oz. size and can get it apparently. $67 bucks - ouch.

Any Lordco stores in Alberta?

Carecaresmart.com located in Burnaby BC has #83 available and they ship only within Canada.

:D NAPA. PM me your number and I can call around for you to see which store has it in stock to save you some time.

There are no Lordco's in Alberta.

hehehehe I only paid 40 for my jug of 21. SoCal ROCKS!

Make the move to Hi-Temp. There is a distibutor in Edmonton.

I have their # at work if you need it.

Also Pro Detail is in ED. not sure if they sell to consumers, but would know of detailers and products

BTW: PM received. I was planning on having a detailing get together....but then I opened my window and found a couple inches of snow.

I tried calling you, but no one picked up.

7750 Ranchview Drive NW, Calgary, AB T3G 1Y9

730 16 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2M 0J8

My phone didn't show a call coming through... stupid phone has been failing me the last few months.

Richer, you can pick up Megs #83 in Edmonton at Greggs Distributors. There are 3 locations:

16215-118 Avenue

3911-92 Street

3611-76 Avenue

They carry a few other Meguiars products and have a full catalogue online.

Sweet! Another product line to try out! :woot2:

Sorry to be so late to this thread. However, in Edmonton you can go to Acklands Body Shop Supply or Gregg's Distributing. It won't be super cheap unless you set up a jobber account. Anyone can buy off the street, though. Lots of Megs selection. Don't bother with Pro Detail (st. Albert) all they will do is bash Megs and promote their stuff (Production). The only reason they sell any of their product is margin. Kind of like Wal Mart - If they can buy enough of it cheap enough, they can rape you and me when they sell it. It's not ncessarily good or bad, each is different. I haven't bought there in quite a while, so they could have Megs now, but I doubt Megs would sell it cheap enough to them.

Hope that helps.

Another place in Edmonton that stocks #83, as well as most of the rest of Meguiar's products is Carlson Autobody Supply, on 97st just north of 51ave.
