Doesnt #83 have more of a bite than #80. Can someone post a pick of #83 beside #80. I just need to know if the product that I have, is actually the right product. I know what #80 looks like, I'm not sure about #83.

between the two, #83 is more aggressive. look at the scale on the left side...

I bought some #83 from a megs site, it came in a smaller sample bottle. I need to see the actual liquid product. Thanks.

as mentioned, #80 is like a brown/olive color, and #83 is white...

I use #80, and it's always gotten the job done. I may actually get myself some Optimum Compound and see if that gets the the job done a little better, specifically on the cars with a little harder paint.

Hey Ptim,

Nice Avatar! :p

Ask Ralphy how he likes that Lifeboy?

As for 80 vs 83, one is a polish the other a glaze. TO make DACP cut better, use a cutting pad as it breaks down, it starts to polish. You may get a slight haze afterwards, but the finish will be swirl free. Follow with the 80 and a polishing pad and you'll get the high gloss back.

No, don't do that. Just use a spray bottle with distilled water to wet it down a bit more until you're sure the finish is clean and swirl free. Then wipe off and switch to 80 for polishing to a high gloss.

You can keep going down in polishes until you get to the pure glaze like #7.

There are bettr finishing polishes in my professional view. If you're using a rotary, you may want to try the 3M "Ultrafina" finishing polish and matching blue pad.

If using a PC, you could use Menzerna FPII.

so what like ssr1 then or more or less aggressive?

I would say that the M80 has a bit more bite than ssr1. And AIO is even less bite than ssr1. I dunno but I have many good results with the M80. And it's very easy to use. :) TQ.

I love 80 it can take out alot more than some people think. but on some things just gotta get out the #83. Which has less working time. So be careful it dries fast.
