i found some megs 26 yellow wax in my garage... at what point is this used? as an lsp or is it a base for something like nxt or megs gold. im assuming its a topper but has any1 used it an have feedback on it?

LSP, pure wax with no cleaners. Its worth using on dark color cars and last long for a carnuba, but its not as easy to wipe on and off as S100. It definately worth using. You can look in the review section for more comments.

alrite thanx man. i gonna work on my dads 2005 RL this weekend an i wanted some high gloss lsp to finish it with. its a greyish blue color so it might work well, but ill check the reviews, thanx

I have used it as an lsp after polishing. It will darken your paint some and has a somewhat glossy look. It does tone down metallic paint also (have to be much closer to see the flake). I have only used it on a few colors, but it seems to make red glow wet.

i read all the reviews and no1 seems to put this on after something like nxt. im wondering if i should just top it with nxt because im familiar with it an love the results. i was just gonna wash, 80 with pc, then top with nxt or 26. if any1 has an opinions on what they think would look better on a metallic, grey/blue paint, id appreciate it

Lots on Meguiars forum use it on top of NXT to add deepth to dark colors. Make sure to allow the polymers in NXT set up for 12 hour before you apply #26. Is it good for your grey metalic paint is up to you do a section and decide if the look is for you.

Always a good idea to let a carnauba cure for 12-24 hours before layering. You may even find that the optics & slickness improve a bit as well. The Meg's #26 Paste is a nice product and always a good choice. Just remember to apply it thinly.

K, one more uncertainty...

So after applying the wax I should not touch it at all and wipe the wax off with MF's 12-24 hrs. later ???
