Newbie alert...
I've been reading this board for over a month (and yes, I've used the search thingee, TONS of good advice); but I have a question:
Has anyone had bad experience (ie: _ruining_ a paint job using Meg's DACP with a DA polisher?) I asked, because I've used my PC on my 3 cars (with great success), with Megs products including Fine Cut #2, Machine Glaze, Medallion Cleaner, #9 polish...
BUT NOW, my boss has asked me to detail his 74 yellow vette, which has multiple swirl/spider-web marks throughout the paint. Being the boss's car, I was thinking I should wash, clay, paint cleaner, and evaluate from there. plan a.) If marked improvement, I would then apply #9, and top with a wax.
plan b.) If not, go stronger, perhaps DACP, and work my way back up.
Now, allthatbeingsaid, has anyone had good/bad experience of simply applying DACPto a poorly maintained paintjob, and then topping with a wax?
Thanks for any assistance
