meg#2 or premium paint cleaner

is someone could quickly outline the differences between meg #2(fine cut) and medallion premium paint cleaner, it would be deeply appreciated. if this has already been discussed somewhere, please provide a link because i had trouble finding it.

the vehicle is a 10 year old, slightly oxidized, white van(not mine).
 
I am fairly sure that #2 is for machine only and Medallion is to be apply by hand or machine.

Meguiar's tech support will confirm this but I am pretty sure I called about this a while back

Then order their Dual Action Cleaner/Polish. It has similar cutting power to #2 but is gentler on the paint due to more oils and diminishing abrasives (in my own experience).
