I have some areas on my paint that I ask about in another Theard and I will most likely use 3m finesse it or Pinnacle cleansing lotion.Should I rewash the car before applying Z-1.
 
A couple friends and I went to the Mecum Muscle Car Auction at Bartle Hall in KC today. Some nice rides there, no doubt!:cornut:

This is a new building under construction right next door to Bartle Hall. Not sure what it is, but kind of a cool building!

I knew that would catch someone's eye!!! Actually, it's a 2008 Corvette that has had it's body removed and been "re-skinned" with a new custom-molded '63 Corvette body!

So the '08 Vette cost around $57,000, then add the conversion of the '63 body, plus paint adds an additional $60k!!!

It won't go across the auction block until Saturday night, so I don't know the price.:biggrin:
 
Wow Bill! Great shots from the auction. So many nice rides I don't know where to start, but was that a real Yenko?
 
This auction is on HD Theater right now, live. I was just coming on here to see if Bill had detailed the red 59 Vette rolling across the stage right now. I wanted to get down there today, but actually had work get in the way.

There have been some unreal cars come across that stage tonight. Nice pics Bill, very cool.

Yeah, I'm watching it too on HD Theater Channel. That wasn't "my" '59, but I did see it down there... very nice car!

Did you see that Cadillac El Dorado Biaritz go for $120,000?!!!!! Wow!:biggrin::out:

I saw that. That one guy and his wife bought two cars, a 64 Impala 409 and another one that I can't remember, but they were super excited and apparently kind of wealthy.

I like the Farmall behind the stage.

Thank you Jack! It's a place where I can talk about detailing 24/7 and not bore my wife to tears!!! :rofl:

When I gave her my Christmas list of detailing stuff ... she simply replied:

"You gotta get a life!"
