after winning a bottle of the new Ultima Acrylic Spray Wax, i got a chance to try it out on my 2000 ford f150 and a friend`s 2005 jeep liberty. my truck has a host of sealants, waxes, spray waxes, etc and doesn`t see much abuse these days. the jeep liberty is a daily driver that i coated with mckee`s 37 coating not too long ago, but sees a lot of wear and tear. i gave each vehicle a bath and a wipe down with the new acrylic spray wax.

application was easy and i had zero problems with any streaking that ronkh seemed to run into during his review. (i think ron was dealing with higher temps during his application.) i started with each vehicle in the early morning on my shaded driveway, probably 80-85degrees, but pretty humid. simply sprayed and wiped each panel and moved on. it is recommended to shake well, which i did often during the application. i also wiped all exterior glass, and again, no streaking. EZ on EZ off, just what us old farts like. the finish on my truck was already very slick, but i could notice an immediate increase in finish slickness on the jeep upon application. it also increased shine on the jeep and probably on my truck.

overall, i liked the acrylic spray wax and would expect it to have a greater durability than most spray waxes, but time will tell. i will be trying it on others friends and neighbor`s rides and will try to update any other findings.
