Hey all,
I just detailed my wifes 2007 CX-9 Liquid Silver Platinum (I know a big way to say silver) this weekend. It has 1,500 miles on it so it didn't need a lot.
It had one clearcoat scratch along the door that I didnt notice when we picked it up. It also had a clearcoat scratch along the roof as well.
I washed it and used OP with Edge white pad and PC, then used DG111 with AW afterwards. I put another coat of AW yesterday on it, I really like this stuff.
I was able to lessen the scratches with the OP and a green edge pad. I smoked a blue pad on a friends car.
My question to all the professionals and professional amateurs is: How do I treat the black plastic on the fender wells and the rocker panels?
I taped it all off with masking tape and realized to not use the "Duck" brand tape, it is horrible. Didnt stick and when it did, left residue.
What would you use to treat the plastic trim pieces. I want it to look good, not greasy.
Thanks in advance, I havent posted much, I do however enjoy seeing the classics that you all are working on. You all do such great work.
Steve
