Max size edge pads for DA

I have tried 7.5" lake country pads with a flexible backing plate and the vibrations were too much for me. I'd like to try some Edge 2000 pads. I have a PC 7424 but with a 6" counterweight.

Now on most web sites, I see 6" Edge 2000 pads for the DA and 8" for rotary. Can I use the 8" pads on my PC?

Please help, I want to start using edge pads this weekend.

I'm not too familiar with Edge pads, but I think I have read that the DA pads and the Rotary pads are of different foam. If that is true, there probably is a reason and they most likely should be used for what they are intended.
Again, I have no first hand knowledge, but I have heard that the larger pads tend to lessen the effectiveness of the PC because os preading the pressure over a larger area.

After all that, I guess what I'm saying is you probably should stick with the 6" pads for the PC.

Better yet, contact Aaron at Edge and ask him. :)
