This great sealant base/Chemical polish gave my paint a perfect mirror reflection and even hid almost all the mild orange peel when I used it last.

I did it by rotary with an edge white pad some 16 months ago

For some reason I have not been able to get it hologram free since

It is a very dry product and I know not to work it like an abrasive polish but I need some guidance

How much should I use and how many passes.

Here's how i do it (may not be the right way). Rotary, white Lake Country pad, 1000 RPM's or so, on half hood for example i do 2 vertical and 2 horizontal passes, then move to next panel. It usually takes me about a half hour to 45 minutes to do a regular size car. I then go back and remove, directions call for half hour to dry, sometimes I need to dampen the microfib with AJT to help remove. Always looks great. Holograms to me either mean product or application issues with the rotary. I know you're skills are at a high level so I would attribute the streaking to some sort of product issue, did you top it over 16 months? How about hand application? I almost prefer the hand method if I have the time.

When applying by rotary I remove it straight after I've finished each panel

Then I spray AJT or apply a different brand of sealant on top.

OK I'll give your method a go.
