Systems

The con's

They are going to take a % of your earnings
You have to do it there way
You might be responsible for advertising
You have to supply your own transportation looks like
You MIGHT have to buy their equipment and supplies (this could be marked up)

The Pro's
You are working for a large brand company
They might help you with leads in your area
Territory security

I am only basing this off everything that I have read about franchises like this most all of them have some pro's and con's...what you have to determine is, what do you really want?

Some franchises are great they really support there people...Quizano's sandwich shops is one...but there are a lot out there looking for people to work like dogs for nothing...also be very careful about any contracts that they have...should you decided to quit the get out clause can be costly or you are on the hook to find someone to buy you out.....have a lawyer look it over

The major cons that I see, and I have done very thorough research on this company, is the upfront investment cost. They want like thirty or forty grand just to get into the business. If I had that kind of money lying around, then I certianly wouldn't give it to them. I'd start my own business where I get to pick the name. I've never heard of M.A.R.S. other than the research I've done on them, and that is coming from someone who lived in their hometown. It doesn't have the franchise name and reputation of a place like Quizzno's or something like that. You are just as credible going in on your own as you are with them.

Their testimonials are very convincing, and I have no doubt that it is a great opportunity for anyone willing to pony up the cash, but they want a lot of money up front as a security deposit. I understand the reason for it, but it is a huge investment when you don't necessarily have forty grand to burn on something like that.

I didn't even think about the up front costs most franchises require that....for 30K you can start one heck of a good mobile detail biz on your own
