Marker on window from dealer

How do you get all the writing on the windows of cars off that the dealers puts on it? I cleaned it off and you can't see it, but everytime it frosts, rains or gets humid you can still see the outline of it.

I used window cleaner, barkeepers friend, and soap to get it off but none of these seems to work.
 
It still has a film from the marker. I would suggest something like Zaino's glass polish, its slightly abrasive so it should clean any residue off no problem.
 
I'm surprised Bar Keepers Friend didn't get it off...that is probably the product I would have choosen from the list of things you posted that you have. If you apply a rain repellant to your glass, you probably won't even notice [Rain X]

Put some vinegar on a damp paper towel and wash the window down with it then rinse thoroughly .. the acetic acid in the vinegar will prolly lift it.
 
I don't know what dealers use, but I understand that drag racers use SHOE POLISH to write big white numbers on their windows.



Lighter fluid (Zippo, Ronsonol, etc etc) should do the trick.
