I ordered this kit from amazon.com a week ago for $189 delivered. The buffer came in but without the kit, so I called and they apologized and sent me a new one.... the wrong one again :wall so now I have two of the wrong buffers sitting in my truck to be shipped back today. Well, it is the correct buffer, but without the pads and bag so its not what I ordered.



I called them last night, and they are taking it off of their website since apparently either their warehouse has them in the wrong place or they don't have what they think they do.



But some good came out of this, I found the above cheaper one and ordered it today.:grinno:



By the way, this is an AWESOME buffer!! Now I know why you guys rave about it. I had an old 20+ year old one my uncle gave me. A few weeks ago I bought a Harbor Freight $29.99 one on a whim and man, what a piece of junk!! I returned it asap. The Makita is in a whole other league, powerful, awesome slow startup, consistent speed. Niiice!
 
Must have gone up since last year. I found the receipt (i keep all receipts) to see if i did remember correctly and i did pay $159 for it. Oh well, still a good price.
 
i paid a little more since im in canada (think it was 250 CDN) but it was worth every penny. I love my makita.. wouldnt trade it for any other buffer. I like it to much
