I have been wanting to order one from coastal tool but today I stopped by the Makita repair center just to look around and see if they had one I could feel...Anyway's the have a returned one there for 170.00. It's new & clean not a referb. He get return's with part's missing like pad's , bonnett's ect and replace's the stolden part's and sell's it as used. It has the same warranty as a new one in the box but will be and this is an actual Makita store not your local repair guy.

used will be 179.52 including tax

New from Coastal will be 196.50 including shipping

The store guy seem's high for a used tool. Should I make him a lower offer or just get the new one from Coastal ? I can't see him coming down very much. If so what should I offer ?

Thank's for your help guy's

Thats all you need to hear! Sounds like a good deal without the wait! What do you need a box for anyway? Just make sure the spindle nut is included. Velcro backing pads can be found anywhere.

how about 152 for new complete one!!

saw it this week at a local distributor..and i am searching for a lower price from our neighbours ( near gulf countries UAE)!!

I am also looking at the DW849 as an option.

I confused about which one. I held both and the DW feel's more comfortable even though the Makita is lighter.

You won't be disappointed either way! They are both fine machines with a different approach toward ergonomics. There are many threads here that compare the two.

Nagchampa, Ya I know about all the post's. I've done searches many time's here and you just read so many different view point's . I agree they are both good unit's but I like everything about the Makita except the handle , I'm unsure of that.

Thank's bud
