Making white paint glossy?

I would like to know 3 top products that could make my white paint stand out. I use normal P21S and it works good but i was wondering if theres anything else that could potentially be better....?

Depending what you're starting with, a very solid regimine for white paint correction and ultimate final gloss for *me* has been Meguiar's M105 on either PFW or MEguiar's Yellow SOLO polishing pad via rotary, followed by Meguiar's M86 Via Yellow SOLO pad via rotary OR flex, and finally Meguiar's M82 via rotary or flex on a Meguiar's BLACK SOLO finishing pad.

I just finished a 2002 white Yukon with this combo and the results are flat incredible.

I also tried the same combo on a single stage white Jeep Wrangler and found even M105 ALONE was giving a finish worthy of praise via rotary and 4 inch light polishing LC Orange CCS. 100% swirl free, and hologram free. Had the Jeep and inspected it over 3.5 days in direct sun, with halogens, and metal hallide lighting. It finished out with M105 flawlessly.

For good measure, I did try my full 3 step combo and it did provide some additional gloss.

I worked on a 97 malibu yesterday that was white. Customer only wanted a one step so I just went with poli-seal. After that I did one coat of opti-seal and topped it a couple hours later with Duragloss Aqua-wax. For 11 year old neglected paint, it looked awesome. I'll post a thread later with the before and afters.

I would also think that DG105 would do well on most light colors. That stuff is awesome.

It's not the LSP, but the prep before, even on white.

Yeah :xyxthumbs

It's hard to see very faint marring on white, but any flaws will still make light refract instead of reflect. All the multi-step/burnishing stuff might seem like a wase of time, but it *does* pay off, even on "forgiving" colors like white and silver.

For the LSP, white is one case where I like synthetics. FK1000P or even Zaino (and how often do *I* recommend Zaino!) would be on my short list.

I just bought a white vehicle recently, and I'm probably gonna use FK1000P on it.

As has been stated the finsih is in the prep BUT I will add that my go to combo for white is as follows and I have yet to find anything that makes it shine quite like it.

1) *level the clear coat*

2) Duragloss 501 (I am assuming you are using a PC) speed 3-4 i USE BLUE lc PAD

3) Duragloss 105

4) Let 105 cure 12-24 hours

5) Spray with Duragloss Aqua Wax

6) Sit back and ask yourself why you didn't try this combo sooner

Like others have said, prep is the key. Now, as far as LSP's go, DodoWax's White Diamond is the mack-daddy for white. I did a coat on my wife's Highlander (Blizzard White Pearl) and the results were outstanding!

Thanks to "Weekend Warrior" for the sample.

Got a very nice result with my mother-in-law's white 93 Honda, cleaning/polishing with Meguair's Paint Cleaner, then several coats of 1000P. Looks very glossy.
