Make sure you charge more for Cadillac's Escalade EXT

GM's gotta stop using the standard parts bin for all their vehicles. A 15K car shoudn't have the same dash, display, and switches as a 30K car IMO.

That said, I do like some of the idea GM is coming out with. They had a concept car (Piranaha or something) in San Francisco that had a drain plug in the bottom of the car so you could just hose off the inside completely. The cloth on the seats was also removabe so they could be washed. And there was a built in cooler that you could remove - I think it was refrigerated when it was in the car. I also like how they put a regular electrical outlet in the car instead of a cigarete adapter.

I'm not saying I'd use or get any of these options in my ride (personally, I'm not a fan of domestic cars), but it's nice to see GM coming up with new ideas

It uses the same cheap, poorly textured plastic and ugly grey switches the Cavalier uses, only with more buttons and switches. In a $20,000+ car like the Grand Prix, it is unforgivable. I was seriously considering one when they first came out because of the available supercharged 3.8 V6--then I took a look at the interior and decided to keep my paid for Accord a while longer

Scott, I really couldn't agree with you more on Pontiac's interior styling. My girlfriend had a Sunfire (Wrx now, thanks to my talking it up) and I couldn't get over how cheap the plastics felt in that car. I went to the 2001 Auto show and the Bonneville had caught my eye so I sat in it, only to realize I was staring at my girlfriends dashboard with more buttons. This on a 30K+ car. My father has a Grand Prix, everytime I have to drive it for whatever reason, I can't stand it, it's just too busy and cheap looking, one of those cases where less is more. At least the seats are comfortable as Buldog had mentioned.

You share my thoughts on the Impala (never really cared for the malibu, but I understand where your coming from on that one also) the 94-96's were perfect, even though they used the Caprice as it's base, they couldn't have done them better, they even corrected their mistake in the 94-95's by putting the shifter on the floor, looked like exciting things were about to come back to Chevy, other than overpriced Vettes (damn good, but way overpriced) then they just stopped. Thanks GM. :xyxthumbs

This is what a Malibu should look like (and yes, that is the Chevelle Malibu I used to have):
