Walking around a surplus store today and came across some pretty cool stuff. I found and bought all 16 cans of CD-2 cleaner and detailer (that's 16 of each:D ) for $1.35 a can:shocked. Also there was 4 boxes of Mothers clay bar kit for $5 each :sign Yep bought those. I also seen some bottles of Old labeled EO 20/20 and some Megs polishes. And that is my question. Are these older products still worthy? Would they lose some of their punch being somewhat older? Does anyone know about the EO 20/20; did their make-up change with the new label or would it be the same formula? There was I think like 6 or 7 bottles there for $1.50 each.

The polishes I'll probably pick up for display purposes. They were the cream colored bottles. Very cool. Hell I don't know maybe their not that old. I forgot the date on them but I'm somewhat sure there was a UPC code there. But the EO 20/20 is what Im curious about.

The old 20/20 is the killer stuff. They only made it for a couple of years. Then the gov told them it was a little hot for the retail shelf. If you have some of that then, You Da Man! Their new stuff is good but nothing like the first batches! That info comes straight from the top before Valvoline bought them.
 
Thanks Dennis. No disrespect to Dennis but can anyone else verify what he says about the 20/20? I'm really itching to go pick 'em up!
 
No disrespect taken. The person I heard it from should be at the Orange County Fairgrounds in SoCal over the holiday weekend coming up. He has been with EO since the beginning.
 
Cool. I'm going right now to pick up what's left. It's about an hour away but it's a nice day for a drive. Nice day to work too. Or maybe go to the beach. Or maybe go to....

It's called Grand Surplus. 2 locations in my town. Just a old dirty store that has a lot of different stuff. You probably have these type of stores in your city or town. When I got there there was 15 bottles of the 20/20. I brought home 13. The other two bottles cracked quite easily even though I was pretty careful putting them in a box. I'll be putting them in different spray bottles when ready to use.

I forgot to mention that it was $1 a bottle. Yeah I think I'm set for at least next summer. $13.00 plus tax; not too bad.:xyxthumbs

I'm stoked on the CD2 as well. Picked up the rest of the cans to give me 2 cases of each. Can't wait to try it out :p
