Does anyone know how to clear coat after repairing a small chip?

Whats the process?

Is it recomended?

What kind of clear to use?
 
I believe (according to this site) you can blend in the touch up paint into the clear. Should you decide to use the clear you just replace it with the paint in your last few coats.

I was just wondering if any of you have tried this product. If so, what are your feelings. Is it reliable? Do you still get 911 service? :-?

I have seen the late night info mercials and it just has me curious :-?
