M205

Your best bet is to order from ADS. I am in San Diego and I get my stuff from Rick overnight, every single time. No extra charge...

Rick is a really great guy, and even better businessman! I ordered 32lbs of products from ADS. 3 days and $16.95 s&h later, I had all the stuff, individually bubble wrapped and well packed!

so if i cant find the M205 what she i use in its place?

#83??

If for some STRANGE reason you refuse to order it from ADS (I literally can't think of one good reason), then NO, not 83...83 is a medium polish not designed to be a last step.

M205 is an ULTRA FINE *finishing* polish intended to remove fairly light defects but leave a flawless finish ready for a wax. You would need #80, or possibly even #82 to be your last step to get a similar result.

What are you working on? What are you trying to accomplish? What tools/experience do you have?

I will be working on a black camery that never been detail before. Im trying to do a full paint correction.

here is my process:

wash

clay

wash

mask tape off all edge, plastic, ect..

M105 LC orange/Zenith point technique 300-1500rpm

M205 LC white/ Zenith point technique

poorboy ex-p via PC LC blk pad x2

poorboy natty past wax via PC blk pad x2

am i missing anything?

If you are using 105 I think you will have a hard time with the "zenith technique" as the compound is done in about 20 seconds. How much time do you have with a rotary?

Cheers,

GREG

I've work on a rotary with a junk test panel before but this will be my first time detailing a whole car with a rotary and using M105.

The reason i want to use the zenith technique is beucase i've read it in this forum that had a review on M205 so i figured M105 will be the same.

As Greg stated, 105 works and flashes very quickly (one of the qualities that makes it so good), so there will be no time for the zenith technique. It is very different than other polishes in that aspect. You don't even spread it like a normal polish/compound. Start at 12-1500 and "do work son!"
