I had a hard time seeing a ton of aggression(and this is application dependent) from Opt Compound. Why dont you start with both(order the smaller sizes) that way you could use them a couple of different ways but if y ou didn't like one you wouldn't have a quart of something you didnt like laying around.
I'm an Optimum guy but I must say that 205 is a great product, very versatile and will finish out better than the Optimum Compound but might not be as much cut as the OPII.
Both products work well but I must say that the 205 has the edge.
