M105/M205 with edge double side pad???

i have been using the System One polishing system for half a year now, and the botttle is almost empty and its time to restock. so....i was wondering how well the M105 and M205 would work with this pad? of course, one side of the pad is twisted wool, and would be used with 105, and the foam is a for polishing (100ppi) and would be for the 205.



anyone have any experience using the 105/205 with this pad? ive only seen the system one polished used with it before, and wondered how it would work. i find that the system one polish is GREAT, but sometimes leaves behind RIDS that it seems M105 is able ot take out of other cars. it does finish perfect, however, with no swirls or holograms.
 
im not stupid lol. all i said was i have ever really seen this pad used, except with the system one polish, bc it comes together as a kit. im asking if M105/M205 would be a good replacement for the System One, WITH this pad. 105 for the wool side, 205 for the foam side, and mix and match whenever you need a cut thats in between.
 
The Enforcer- I dunno...IME you have to watch you don't make too big a jump between the M105 work and the M205 follow up. There's undoubtedly some way to use those pads with the Meg's stuff, but it might not be as straightforward as you'd think/like.



E.g., you might have to go M105/wool, then M105 foam, and then switch to another pad for the M205 work.
 
gotcha! im pretty sure M105 combined with te foan would tackle most correction work that i run in to, but i see what youre saying with there may need to be somethin between that and M205/white pad. guess ill hafta play around with it!
 
I use a 6" system one combo pad with 105 wool and 205 foam all the time. love it! it is just a hair more aggressive than using the system one x3 polish with that pad.
 
well that was gonna be my plan....but i went to the local meguires store and asked for the 105 and 205, and the sales person looked at me like i was dumb and said she had enver heard of it LMAO. soooo....i eneded up getting some M85....i guess i could follow that up w/ system 1
