its a 10k option, its and elector thingy lol.. bascily a current runs through it and turns it white, flick a switch and it goes to clear so you see the sky.. its just a way of resticting the amout of light that comes in
 
The Maybach has been a failure for Mercedes-Benz. I believe they are being discontinued shortly. Apparently, people don't want to pay an additional $150K+ for a longer S-Class.
