Haha... I want the whole car!!!:D

A friend of mine called me a couple nights ago and wanted his Ground Effects polished. He had taken them off the car, re-painted and wet-sanded them and wanted me to "shine 'em up"!

Process...

1. For good measure, I hit them with some 2000 one more time
2. IPA wipedown
3. M205/PC/LC Orange 5.5" pad. This was VERY SOFT Clearcoat. I used NO PRESSURE. Just the weight of the machine.
4. IPA Wipedown
5. ZPC/PC/LC White 5.5" pad. (He's a Zaino guy, so I wanted to give him Zaino prep.)

Total duration, 90 minutes.

Turned out nice, but next time I want the whole car!!!!!:D ;) :D ;) :D

nice work Bill, came out looking brand new.

nice work, its those little details that seperates one car from another :)

Bill, they look great. He will have to bring you the "rest of the car" as it is going to look mighty funny with shiny pieces all over it. (Hey, is that a Lloyd and Flanders table they are sitting on? I own one like it.)
jk

Tell him to always bring the whole car, so that everything will match when you're done. :D I still have an image of a faded car driving around with glistening rocker panels!

Well done.
