Lowes Online

Outrageous I say!

Ive looked up maybe a dozen Lowes across the country, obviously including my own 2 local stores. Only to find the PC 7336s/p, is now $139.00!

I too tried to find one at Lowes after reading on-line how cheap they were. Neither one of our local Lowes carried it, so I opted to buy one on-line with an assortment of pads, etc. Ya gotta have the stuff anyway, unless you already do. Look around, there's several deals that offer free shipping and no sales tx (if you order from out of state).

I bot mine from my local Lowes a few years ago when it went onsale for ~$100 plus 6% tax. So $119 plus shipping from Coastal ain't too bad.

That's WEIRD. I was just in Lowe's the other day and the PC 7336 was priced at the same $99 it was when bought it there several months ago.

i got mine for $109 plus tax back in ummmm august? If the price goes up to 140 plus tax locally, more pad/pc kits are going to start selling at online vendors. Before the price hike, it was a little cheaper to buy the machine locally and then get pads online. now with the increased price, it might be more expensive to buy locally and then get pads online once shipping costs are included. i think if vendors keep the current pc/pad kit pricings, they should see an increase in their sales.

I too looked online and saw it for 139.00. Then I called my local lowes and was told it was 109.00 in store so I went and bought it on 2/15 for 109.00 + tax of course.

Well, I already have 2. I was actually doing a little homework for someone though. But if there still $109.00 in store, maybe I'll grab a couple more....

It seems like Lowe's prices the machine differently in various regions around the country and perhaps prices it at yet another level on-line.

Not sure if the PakShak special is "throwing in a pad" or just includes the usual non-velcro pad that comes with the 7336. But it is a decent deal with the backing plate.

Still $99 when I was at the Lowes in Woburn yesterday.

I bought one, and am going to attempt to learn how to use it. If I screw up too bad, I can always go back to the guy I had detail it last time (he did a good job, I just want to save money and with how anal I am about it, spending the money on the equipment is much cheaper than spending the money to have it done for me on a regular basis).

I figure I'll probably look like this guy the first few times I try it: :buffing:

Same here.

I noticed the price went up on the Lowe's site as well. I paid $109 in-store last year for mine and ordered the pad + backing plate kit from Meguiars online.
