Lower grill in aluminum ?

I have replaced the lower grill with aluminum ... it is now in two pieces as I did it with leftovers from a friend that installed this on his black Jetta, if i decide to keep it I'll buy the big piece so it is not splitted in the middle.



I wanted to try it on my car ... I think it looks like it is smiling and has very big teeth

I guess it is a matter of taste. I think the original version is better.

I think you should also look into replacing the upper grill with the aluminum stuff. To have it all match. Its just my opinion, but I would either do all black plastic or all aluminum.

Buy new mesh, along with enough to replace the top plastic grille as well.

Have it all powdercoated black(?), and you're set.

Silver mesh does = rice; sorry!
