Paid for advertising on a local car forum. I have a nifty website I made. Not too nifty, but it gets the idea across. Small business license, state tax code, and I'm going to be insurance shopping this week. I just want a limited liability policy. Something to cover my butt. I hope to not be in the hole when summer is over. I don't plan to do any cars the next few weeks. I have three weeks left of school for this semester, so I am going to wait. Do a little promoting, maybe set things up appointment wise (I have a few people who have been asking since december), and go from there.
Detailing for another company was nice, but it's a great feeling to take some ownership in your own work.
