Hi My Name Is Armando I'm Opening A New Rent To Own Store Just Out Side Of Houston Tx We Will Rent To Own Wheels And Tires And I Want A Detail Shop To Go Along With This Business And I Need Help To Find The Right Products To Us For Auto Detail So If Any One Can Help Please Let Me Know Thanks

Look into automagic, ardex, carbrite. All of which make great products at a bulk wholesale price to the professional detailing world. They will also come to you with their truck and you can purchase everything you need to make a car look new again. You can also look into the sponsers products here but if you plan on doing alot of detailing i would suggest buying form one of the bulk suplliers i mentiond.

Hi Armando welcome to DC :howdy
The best supplies will depend on what you are looking for out of the products.
Please rember that the way the finish comes out is not totally based upon what products that are used, but the processes you use.

Good luck on your new business venture.

By some, but not everyone.:)
Other's swear by Meguiar's, Car-Brite, Auto Magic, 3M, 4 Star, Poorboy's, Professional Car Care, Malco, Detail Plus, Right Look, Detail King, Autoglym, etc.
IMO, There are so many choices, it is more a case of who takes care of you best than what brand of product you purchase.

As mentioned not all ppl like CG, i have never used it so i cant comment on the quility. However im in the same boat sorta, im looking to open a mobile rig next summer and am looking for chemicals as well. What i have been doing is buying diffrent kinds in smaller household sizes to try them out. I have 5 cars in my house to work on (mine, my moms, my bros, and 2 are my dads) so i use stuff up quickly when i find somthing i like i recored it and keep track, i then look at pricing for larger sizes and if it is economical. I would sugest that you do the same. Chemicals are like cars eveyone has their on fav. So i would suggest with maybe starting with some OTC like mothers or megs, then trying Adams, pb, wolfgand, ect. (more "desginer" brands) then from their spending the money on pro. grade studd such as CG or detail king ect. But i think this may be one that you will have to try for yourself and find what works for you.
The last thing you want is to order a few gallon of somthing that you dont like, and that dosent perform to your standards
If you have having trouble finding cars to try products on have a 10% off sale and use the new products, if you dont like them well the customer got a discount and you found somthing out, everyone is happy. I know some wont agree with this but thats just MHO
So good luck with the chemicals and the shop, plz keep us posted with what you try and how you like it, we are alwys looking for new reviews and opions of products
Best of luck to you

It's a very subjective process to determine the 'best', meaning it really isn't as simple as buying X or Y.

I'd suggest doing lots of searches here at DC, come up with some product brands that sound good based on how others have done with the products, then start talking to vendors (DC site vendors, if possible) about what your objectives are, etc. Odds are, as CharlesW mentioned earlier, you're going to decide based on a combination of product and service from the vendor.

IMO.

I think "chml17l" was referring to the type of writing in the first post being in code (capitalizing the first letter of every word).

As to "bulk" deals, I've read PB has deals for "real" businesses. Also, there is the Four Star Pro line (which is intended for pro shops), available from PAC, as well as from select other vendors. Of the Pro line products that I've tried, they seem to work well. They also can be bought in drums! (If you're planning on being that busy! :bow )
