Looking for a local or mobile detailer in Annapolis area

NTI V10

New member
My daily driver is a E60 M5 and I also have a '73 911. The Porsche is garaged but the M5 is not. I'd like to have both detailed going into the spring and provided they come out well would probably want to have both taken care of several more times this year.

I have used Extreme Details in VA before and was pleased with their results but I no longer work in that area so it's not convenient for me.

Please PM me or reply if you have any suggestions for who I should try.

Thanks!

Nick

Hey Nick,

My name is Emily, and I am a representative of Porsche Annapolis. We are Maryland's newest and only exclusive Porsche sales and service center.

I saw your post regarding the search for a deatiler in the area, and we'd be glad to assist you in any way that we can. I've mentioned your post to our serivce manager Rick Brewer. He's happy to set up an appointment for you, and you can reach him by calling (443) 837-2600.

We're located right off Rte. 50 in Annapolis (you can see us from the highway and we're right next to the Harley-Davidson store). If you're coming from Rte. 50, take Exit 23 and follow West Street toward downtown Annapolis. From there, take a left onto Hudston Street, which is just after the light at Solomon's Island Road. We'll be on your left.

We hope to have an opporutnity to work with you and help you maintain your Porsche. Keep in touch.

NTI V10, you'd be much better off getting an Autopian detailer to work on your car. Based on my past experiences, as well as many otheres here, body shops/ dealerships/ high volume detailing shops are nightmares. They simply dont spend the time to do the job correctly. Theres a countless number of show n shines posted here where Autopians have had to fix other "detailers" screw ups. Stick with an experienced Autopian detailer and youll be good to go. :up

AMEN! couldn't have said it better myself. I corrected a butchered Lamborghini Murcielago that was "Dealer Prepped/detailed" Just because it may be a high end car dealership does not in any way mean they have top notch qualified detailers. STAY AWAY FROM CAR DEALERSHIP DETAIL SHOPS. Or hire one of us afterwards to fix the Holograms and buffer burns they will leave behind :getdown

I usally just browse on here and post occasionally on MOL. I live in the Glen Burnie Pasadena are but work in annapolis and would be happy to take a look at your car. I have a few threads over on MOL called "gift for a friend" and "lotta black" that have a few before and afters. If you are interested send me a pm and I will give you my number.....Greg

+1 for autopian to work. Dealerships, no matter how dedicated the detailers are, cannot afford to put the time and effort into a single vehicle. Volume for them is key. And with volume comes short-cuts, carelessness, and poor quality of work.
