Greetings-
I've got a 1992 Alfa Romeo 164L (red) that probably has a lost-cause paint job. I'm the second owner and parts of the clearcoat have crystalized, and there are (I think anyway, I'm not an expert on these things) hard water stains on the trunk.
I'm well aware that the car may require a full metal sand and repaint, but it's probably a 5K job, and for the time being, I'm not prepared to spend that kind of cash on the car.
There seem to be surprisingly few detailers in the yellow pages here and what there are, seem to be little more than wash-n-wax places (auto car washes)
In any case, I don't expect miracles, and I'm aware the paint may not be saved, but still, I'd like to have someone try and bring it back a little.
I've included some pics for reference. Sorry they are not very good, it was an overcast day. Will try to get some better pics today.
