Bought a few clear (see through) plastic drawers from Target and decided use them to store ONLY for clean mf towels, foam pads, applicators, mitts...etc. When I inspected and kind of compared the quality of mf towels from different vendors, found 2 super small dry clays melted into the fiber. :shocked :shocked :shocked
I either put the clay on top of the towel.
Or While using the clay bar, some of the sticky clay got on my hand and then transfer to the mf towel when wiping at the end of the process. Horrible.
Here is what I learned. Even you wash your tools every usage. That's not enough. Inspect anything that contact with your paint before use. Use your hands to feel it. Under good lighting, look for loose lints or foreign objects.
