Just wanted to jump out and say hello to everyone. I've been able to learn quite a bit about car detailing from this site and those that post here. Well I've finally worked up the nerve to try some correction on my own.
My first attempt was by hand about 2 years ago with ScratchX. Did not go well, guess I didn't muster up enough "passion". So forward to this past Saturday, weather was decent, I decided to try by hand again only this time with the new Megs productsl, UC and SwirlX. I was able to correct about 70-80% of my swirls, RIDs, etc.
As I wait for my first PC to show up I'm starting to think that a large amount of paint correction is patience and not getting ahead of yourself.
Thanks to all for their great post and hopefully I'll have something to post with before and after results.
