It would be helpful if more people would put where they are located in their profile.
It then shows up in the left column of your post.
No big deal, but it is kinda nice to know where people are located.
That way I don't make the mistake of bad-mouthing anyone close enough to come over and punch me in the mouth.

I was one that said that but not quite that nice......LOL

I always look to see where someone is at before answering a question if its in their profile. It helps to know if they are looking for a good durable wax/sealant, etc and I know they live in FL, CA or NY. There is a lot more that goes into that answer but the area to me has a lot to do with it.

Also I always find it cool when someone from Europe or other countries posts, really gives you the effect of what this WWW is all about.
 
as usual, i am in total agreement with you Charles. i see know reason to not put a city and state in the profile. i just like to know where people are coming from. i talked with my wife about this and she is not in agreement with either of us. she thinks it is no one's business where she is at. different strokes for different folks.
 
I too like to see where people are from.
Not only like beemerboy says, for product selection but also when questions are asked about pricing for local services.
What I find to be a normal price here on Long Island won't even be the same in upstate NY
