Hi guys im curiouse. How do the local foam car washes work iv my own valeting buisness part time for fun since leaving the forces and filling in a gap in employment and for the life of me can not figure out how my local foam wash can have a car in and out in a few minutes. Rinsed foamed and rinsed and car leaves. I use auto smart mouse TFR and cant have a car cleaned in that time. Never mind wheels they just spray and cars clean. Yet im sure once cars dried it wount be as clean as you think but still pretty good. I cant clean wheels that quick i need to get in there with brushes. And on paint foam rinse then manual scrub n rinse.

Just something thats annoying me a little lol
 
I could wash my truck in 5 mins with a nice brush and a bucket.

It wont look the same after but it will be done haha

Lots of abrasiveness in those tunnel washes.
 
I assume you mean like a touchless wash? Very harsh soap presoaking, high pressure rinse, spot free rinse, and blow dry. They do a nice job but can never get the stuck-on road film. If my customers are too lazy to do proper 2BM or RW, I recommend the touchless over the tunnel wash with brushes and 5 guys at the end drying the car with who knows what kind of towels.
 
Sounds like your cars at the car wash are way to pamperd. Here in the UK the machine wash is crap tried once on my older car because it advertised under car. What it meant was splash some water of the floor lol. And its the hand wash one guy rince spray wheels foam car and rince spray stupid aqua wax and rinse done. Iv had it a few time before i had my buisness in winter to take all the crap of before i do a proper wash in a few days because at the time i was traveling alot in a month. But even then it was still pretty clean and the use the same autosmart i use. But i maybe prasume its the mega indystrial pressure washer helping. Where mines are both 120psi not 3000psi?. Which im about to invest in a new petrol one .. my karcher petrol is crap cuts out and my nilfisk might now be over used starting to pulsate.
