little problem SSR2.5

a couple weeks back i was trying to remove some light scratches on my black car. Unfortunatly i didn't have my PC with me so I deceided to apply SSR2.5 by hand with a microfiber applicator.(i know, bad idea) I followed this up with SSR1 with the same method and then Ex-p.

anyway, I've got some really bad scratches now. I guess i didn't break down the SSR2.5 enough.

So what do you folks suggest? SSR2 with PC and polish pad? SSR1? or back to SSR2.5 but with PC and polish pad?

Yep, give the SSR2 a try on the worst spot. If that doesn't work, go back to the 2.5.

I'm in same boat as you (and with the same car)! Check out my thread in the Poorboys sponsored section entitled "Newbie Freakin' Out after using SSR2.5 on new 2010 8 week old black G37 {coupe}".

I received a lot of responses- looks like application by hand is not the way to go.

Well, at least they know how to search first before starting a new thread.
(And what are the chances of finding a thread that 66% of the posts are made by no longer active members? That's gotta be a record! :bigups: )

I think I saw the double face palm in a time wasting meeting I had to sit through the other day at work.

Next time I'll pay more attention to the dates of the threads...
