I've pushed out a few dents here and there with moderate luck, so I figured what would be better than blowing some money on a basic PDR set from ebay. My father had a garage whoopsie. The paint had some pretty bad marring as well as a fist sized dent. Knowing the panel needed a repaint (cracked paint at the bumper line) I figured I didn't have much to lose. Here are a few pics:
This is the actual dent, you can also see some of the marring.
I had to remove a bunch of crap to get access back here.
One good push and about 1/2 the dent came out
lots of massaging and most of it is out, the hard part was right around the seam, it just didn't want to budge. I ended up using a bridge to pull most of it out.
Its pretty straight, but far from perfect.
Most of the marring is now gone.
Man, I love how nice 105 finishes out.
Learned a few lessons and made it look a bit better before it gets fixed for good.
