lithium batteries

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
Have a weather station i really enjoy. After the last few arctic blasts, i figured the outside temp. sensor could use a UPGRADE to lithium batteries. According to the manual, alkaline are good for -4 to 158. Lithium are good for -22 to 158 temps. It's a accutron station. Quite accurate. Now they take the outside temp at the airport here. So there is always a few degrees difference. currently..40 at the house. 36 at the airport. I am guessing the lithiums should last a long time with better performance in the outdoor sensor. It can be tricky to find a good spot to get good readings on the outside sensor. No direct sunlight etc.... I have it mounted on the inside overhang of the front porch/stoop. Seems really accurate there.
